Shreya and Ben
We’re often asked if we have a favourite venue and the answer is no, they’re all beautiful in their own way, and the The Great Tythe Barn is no exception. We were kindly recommended by videographer Darren from Darren Jack Wedding Films, and as always it was great to work with him again. The couple had stayed at the barn the night before in their separate cottages preparing for their big day, and that’s where we found them.
Ben’s groomsmen and the cottage all looked a little worse for wear; a table full of of empty coffee cups and a few empty pot noodle pots were evidence of a good night! Over in Shreya’s place the girls had everything under control with hair and make-up well under way. Shreya’s Dad was waiting in anticipation to see her for the first time, this pic is taken at most weddings but never has a Dad shaken hands with the bride first followed by a very moving hug, very funny and emotional too. A beautiful ceremony was followed by an outside blessing and then it was our time to take the couple off for some pics. So many bride and grooms tell us how much they enjoy this part of the day as it’s the first time they’re alone since becoming husband and wife. Photos done and it was back for dinner and speeches. Magician, Darren Campbell wowed the guests with some very close up magic, and as always baffled everyone! Each speech was very poignant which also included a power point from Ben’s Dad. Small interlude then over to the bouncy castle for some action shots and believe me it wasn’t the kids on it! To finish the day with a fantastic sunset is always a massive bonus.
You both looked amazing guys, even when you were 3ft high on the bouncy castle! Enjoy India and your honeymoon.
